AVOCADO SEASON WAS FEATURED ON THE KICKSTARTER HOMEPAGE (PICTURED LEFT) AND IN THEIR NEWSLETTER AS A STAFF FEATURED/STAFF FUNDED FAVORITE. WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE CAMPAIGN LAUNCH, 20% OF OUR FUNDING HAD BEEN REACHED.
USING INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK AS THE MAIN MARKETING TOOLS, I WAS ABLE TO CONNECT TO A LARGER AUDIENCE THAN EVER BEFORE. THE VIDEO WAS VIEWED OVER 3,000 TIMES AND SHARED ON FACEBOOK OVER 300 TIMES. THE CAMPAIGN REACHED IT'S $3,200 GOAL FOUR DAYS BEFORE IT'S END, FINALLY REACHING $4,038 FROM 95 BACKERS IN AMERICA, CHINA, CANADA, GERMANY, ENGLAND, AND BELGIUM. PRODUCTION WAS UNDERWAY BY APRIL, AND ALL THE DELIVERY DEADLINES WERE MET WITHOUT TARDINESS. |
